Highlights of Raja Ampat Island

The beauty of the natural panorama has made Raja Ampat tourism famous all over the world. The Raja Ampat Islands are located in the westernmost part of Papua and cover an area of ​​4.6 million hectares. Raja Ampat Regency consists of 4 main islands namely Waigeo Island, Batanta Island, Salawati Island and Misool Island.

The nickname “a piece of paradise” that fell to the earth was indeed fitting for the regency of Raja Ampat, West Papua province. The regency established in 2003 has many natural tourist attractions, both on land and at sea. In addition to the attraction of nature tourism, Raja Ampat also has a rich social and cultural background.

Outline itinerary:

DAY 1 Sorong – Arrival
Arrival at Sorong ( Domine Eduard Osok Airport ), Southwest Papua, Indonesia. It is one of the largest and busiest airports on the Bird’s Head Peninsula. Meet and greet with our guide and transfer to your hotel for overnight

DAY 2 Sorong – Raja Ampat
After brekafast, around 08:30 we directly transfer to Pelabuhan Rakyat to catch the Fast boat to Waisai. Heading to Waisai. It will takes ± 2 hrs sailing with fast boat, Arrived Waisai direct transfer to your Resort, Check-in and lunch. After lunch you can enjoy snorkeling or just relaxing by the Resort Jetty until dinner time. Evening Dinner at the resort and rest of the night are free at your own leisure

DAY 3 Pianemo – Arborek – Sawinggrai
After breakfast, depart for Pianemo Mountain for Hiking. Pianemo, also known as Panemu is a place name in Fam archipelago, a cluster of small coral islands surrounded by clear water and its hills covered by green vegetation. Travelers can do trekking at one of the hills and enjoying a very spectacular scenery. Swimming in clear water of Pianemo also provides its own sensation. Next we visit the local fisherman village of Arborek. Arborek is famous with its handcraft that produce hats and “Noken” traditional bag. Continue trip to Sawinggrai to explore Raja Ampat culture and fish feeding. A picnic lunch at Sawinggrai. Afternoon Heading back to the resort and around sunset we arrived at resort, and prepare for having dinner

DAY 4 Mansuar – Pasir Timbul – Saonek
After breakfast, heading to Cape Mansuar. The westernmost point of Mansuar may have a less broad, more suddenly dropping reef than Cape Kri, but the marine life here is also excellent. And unlike on Kri, there is a village right at the cape, and its jetty provides an easy access point to the reef for snorkelers. Afterward proceed to the famous Pasir Timbul for swimming or snorkeling or just relaxing. A picnic lunch provide at Pasir Timbul
Continue the trip to Saonek. Saonek is a small island with a clean and beautiful white sandy beach, has a neatly arranged little village. Here you can see the home industry of salted fish. You can enjoy snorkeling under the sunset. Around 18:00 we boating back to the resort and prepare for dinner

DAY 5 Bird Watching – Waisai – Sorong
Approximately around 04:00 hrs, Wake up early morning to enjoy bird watching and we will heading to Sapokrem for Bird watching, as the sun rise around 06:30 hrs we back to the resort for breakfast & check out process. Proceed to Waisai harbor and leaving Waisai by fast Boat for Sorong
Arrived Sorong direct transfer to the airport with stop for lunch ( your flight depart sorong should be after 15:00 etd )
