Bhutan, known by the people as Druk Yul, is known as the “Land of the Thunder Dragon”. It is one of the most beautiful and mysterious places in the world.
It is located at the eastern end of the Himalayas. Most of the area is forest with diverse flora and fauna ecosystems. The country ranges from subtropical valleys and plains to snow-capped mountain ranges. This landscape makes it an ideal place to hike through majestic valleys or steep mountains to visit ancient architecture and Buddhist temples.
