TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please ensure that you read and understand these terms and conditions carefully before booking your trip with us. We will make every effort to ensure that your trip runs smoothly and we provide the highest quality services to make your trip a truly unforgettable experience.
BOOKING PROCEDURE
To book your trip with Semara Travel dot com, first check tour availability by select the activities that you want, then make a booking in the booking form. We will then review your booking and provide our reply with description of the tour as soon as possible. Once we have agreed on the details, a guarantee deposit of 30% of the total cost of the trip is required.
Customers can make travel reservations by email or whatsapp. The reservation will be confirmed in writing and an invoice will be issued. We will not be responsible for any discrepancy or incorrect information provided by the client. It is the client’s responsibility to review and verify the order confirmation letter.
PAYMENT
The customer will receive an invoice for all travel services after the booking is confirmed by Semara Travel dot com. Payment must be made before the due date stated on the invoice. If we do not receive the deposit by the due date, the reservation will be automatically cancelled. Deposit payments indicate that the client has read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Clients can make bill payments through Semara Travel dot com Bank Account or transfer using the Transferwise application (USD, Euro, SGD or IDR), or directly to the Semara Travel dot com office. Any bank fees or additional fees caused by currency differences are to be paid by the client. The client will receive a voucher for all travel services and a due date for any remaining invoices. Semara Travel dot com must receive remaining bill 1 day before travel date. For orders placed less than 1 week before the travel date, the client can pay off the entire travel costs one day before the trip starts.
CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
Customers can cancel their orders at any time by communicating with Semara Travel dot com. The tour package fee that has been received is Non-Refundable unless the customer changes the trip schedule in the same year.
CHANGE / CANCELLATION ON FORCE MAJEURE CONDITION
Due to weather and sea conditions or any force majeure beyond our control, we may need to cancel the tour with or without prior notice.
If we cancel the tour prior to departure, a full refund of the total amount paid will be issued. The client will not be entitled to compensation for lost tours.
If the ongoing tour is disrupted by circumstances beyond our control, a refund will be given based on a reasonable proportion of the tour fee.
If there are major changes to the tour prior to departure, the client has the option of accepting the changes and alternative arrangements with or without compensation, or canceling the tour and receiving a full refund, including the price difference.
INSURANCE
Clients must have appropriate travel insurance to participate in our organized tours. We do not provide any foreign insurance. It is the client’s responsibility to arrange their own insurance at a reasonable cost to cover medical expenses incurred due to illness or accident during the trip, and lost vacation money through holiday cancellations and deductions for insurable reasons.
FLIGHT
All departure and arrival times provided by the airline are estimates only and are subject to change due to air traffic control restrictions, weather conditions, operational or maintenance requirements.
